This site was developed to provide the information you need to prepare for the Commission of State Emergency Communications (CSEC) 9-1-1 Program Cybersecurity Assessment. The site was developed in coordination with MIPRO and End to End Enterprise Solutions.

CSEC

The CSEC State 9-1-1 Service Program administered by CSEC is a program under which 9-1-1 service is provided by 20 participating Regional Planning Commissions (RPCs) in 190 of Texas’s 254 counties to approximately 15% of the state’s population.

Cybersecurity is the state or process of protecting and recovering systems, networks, devices, and programs from any type of cyber attack.

ASSESSMENT HELP CENTER

This site was created to provide an understanding of the Texas 911 Cybersecurity Assessment.

The assessment includes three components:

 
  1. Review of all security related Policies and Procedures and a verification of  implemented cybersecurity controls.

  2. Vulnerability Assessment, and

  3. Physical Security Assessment.

The assessment will be conducted from September 2023 to September 2024.
